Painting 100x120cm. “Obedient”, hand painted with Acrylic paint, Spray paint and marker on a premium cotton canvas. The canvas is stretched on a 4cm. thick frame.
This work is inspired by service. The horse as a work willing animal. An animal so big and yet allowing man to lead him. But the fire and power that the horse naturally has remains visible! Each of my paintings focuses on the horse: a beautiful animal that can radiate both strength and vulnerability. My works are also a reflection of life’s challenges and insights; rich in color as well as emotion. I always work with a mix of techniques and invite you to consider topics such as acceptance, rethinking and resilience when viewing my works. What to one person is a strong, proud appearance may to another evoke vulnerability and uncertainty. My art is always open to your own interpretation. Each work tells a new story, in which you will always discover something different.
