Painting 80x100cm. “Peace”, hand painted with Acrylic paint and Spray paint on a premium cotton canvas. The canvas is stretched on a 4cm. thick frame.
This work for me is about rest and peace: peace comes, when expectations end. Only when you let go of all expectations can you really find peace.
Each of my paintings focuses on the horse: a beautiful animal that can reflect both strength and vulnerability. My collection is also a reflection of life’s challenges and insights; rich in color as well as emotion. I always work with a mix of techniques and invite you to consider topics such as acceptance, rethinking and resilience when viewing my works. What to one person is a strong, proud appearance may to another evoke vulnerability and uncertainty. My art is always open to your own interpretation. Each painting tells a new story, in which you will always discover something different.
